Mori Yaki

Mori Yaki was designed as a contemporary dining space that interprets Japanese robatayaki and sushi culture through a modern interior language—simple yet distinctive. The primary material palette of metal and wood is balanced with lively pastel tones and a deep burgundy accent, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

With a capacity of 100 guests, the layout was resolved through fluid circulation, well-proportioned spaces, and comfortable seating arrangements. The custom textured wall finish and lightbox visuals add depth to the interior, referencing Japanese culture not directly, but through spatial associations.

The DJ bar forms a spatial focal point that brings together dining and social interaction within the same experience, while the tree-surrounded garden area creates a calm outdoor atmosphere seamlessly connected to the interior. Mori Yaki was conceived as a contemporary venue shaped around clarity and comfort—an inviting place designed for spending time.
